SeaKeepers accomplishes its mission through the DISCOVERY Yacht Program, which comprises scientist-led expeditions, citizen science trips, educational outreach events, and community engagement activities. Vessel owners and captains can participate in a 10-minute instrument deployment while en route to the next port, to an afternoon outreach trip with children, to week-long expeditions with a team of researchers and scientists. Programming in the United States is accomplished through its headquarters in Miami, Florida. Since its inception, the chapter has engaged with 14 schools and participated in over 55 projects focused on marine conservation.
